I am currently living my dream as an entertainer. As a child I dreamed of performing, but a childhood illness almost cut my dreams short. Surviving, I attended the Youth Performing Arts School where I studied classical voice. My junior year, performing at Carnegie Hall. Later, I attended the HBCU, Southwestern Christian College. Singing with the famed Summer Tour, Testimony, and Anointed. After graduation, I attended Oklahoma Christian University to study classical voice, but I was so unhappy. I wasn't where I wanted to be. I decided to give up on performing and to become a vocal coach. 

At the prompting of my vocal instructor, I auditioned for a reality show, Clash Of The Choirs. I was cast. While my team came in third place, I won. I knew that if I could perform on NBC, I could perform anywhere! 

With $300, my family's backing, and the love of my friends, I moved to New York City. In my first few months I was cast in a three year run of Das Rheingold at The Metropolitan Opera, I found out I was funny, and I even can be seen in a few blockbuster features. Not bad for a small girl from Kentucky.

Now I'm embarking on a new journey. I'm thrilled to see where this new venture takes me! Even when I thought I gave up, my nature was to keep pushing. Keep reaching. Guess I gave up on giving up!
